some of this and that

I have lots of friends in Blog-land. This time around I am stealing some of their ideas. Here is one of them and the story behind it.
We put ourselves on a budget so we can save money to buy our house ASAP. Along with the budget came certain other things... I am back to making lists for everything. Including our bi-weekly menu. You will also notice that every Friday we do Family Pizza night. I borrowed that idea from my long time friend Khrista. Her family has been doing it for forever it seems like. Its a good idea and it gets all in the same room once a week for dinner. Love it! Thanks Khris!
So i thought I would also post my menu's, you'll see that its not that involved. Simple and sometimes special, but 75% of the time it's homemade.

i'm back

Well i know that you all have heard this before... I'm back.

So just a quick update:

I am a mommy of 3 wonderful children and the wife to a grateful husband. But there is more to me. I work 40 hours a week outside the home, and I home with my kids when they get home form school. I cook dinner, I kiss the boo boo's and I read bedtime stories to my littlest one. I have faults. Lots of them. So now you will understand why I am in and out so much!

I have a love/hate relationship with job. Its not what I intend to do forever, just right now. I am call center agent. I work for Walmart, and I love my company. My husband also works for them, but he has been with the company for 5 years to my 7 months. :) I love him so much.

My kids are 13, 9 and 5. They have their own personalities, and are their own little people. Sabryna is my cheer/dance girl. My one and only girl. *my baby girl always and forever* She's in Jr. High School, and let me tell you that a scarry place for mom! lol. Andy is my little athlete. He loves sports, and loves football especially. Oh! And he's my little skater boy too. Then there is the baby of the family- Billy. He's rough and tough and does everything bubby (bubby is Andy in this case) does. As much as they 'fight' with each other Billy is Andy's little shadow.

Me- I am everything. I wear many hats and have many 'jobs'. When I get 'me' time I like to spend it curled up with a book or scrap booking. I love taking pictures, and playing games with the husband or the kids. I LOVE cooking. And yes I have a weight problem. Mostly because I LOVE to cook! Like I said I'm not perfect.
